Tess is captivated by a vibrant display of succulents at a local market, strikes up a conversation with Clyde, who’s enthralled by a rare Bromeliad. Their shared passion for plants sparks an immediate connection..
The ‘Experiment’
Tess and Clyde begin experimenting with combining their plant loves, creating unique terrariums that blend the vibrant colors of succulents with the lush greenery of tropical plants.
The First Terrarium!
Their first terrarium, a masterpiece of vibrant succulents cascading over a miniature jungle backdrop, is a hit at a neighborhood plant swap. The positive response fuels their entrepreneurial spirit.
terradium Takes Root
Their first major project is a custom terrarium for a prestigious hotel lobby. The challenge of creating a large-scale, visually stunning piece that requires minimal maintenance pushes their creative and technical boundaries.
Living Art
Inspired by the hotel commission, Maya and Liam refine their “Living Art” concept, emphasizing the integration of terrariums into interior design as unique and low-maintenance living sculptures.

Tess
Self-proclaimed succlentier! Tess has always loved succulents and has a thumb that is all the colors of the succulent rainbow. Not only is she our resident succulent expert, she is a master organizer and keeps the ship afloat no matter how much we have going on.
Clyde
If he touches it, it will bloom and flourish. Literally everything Clyde touches turns green and gorgeous. Clyde has always been a master at growing tropical fauna and he is capable of creating terrarium masterpieces. Clyde has some great stories too, so if you see him ask him to tell you a tale, it’s always a good time.
Ruby
Ruby has an eye for design, she is meticulous about placement and aesthetics. A former fashion designer Ruby is capable of creating some delightfully gorgeous gardens. She can walk in any space and instantly ideas begin to flow and propagate.
Willow
Willow has an old soul, she loves everything and anything from the 1920’s; her designs often hint to her love of vintage. She is commonly found adding what most of us see as ‘junk’ to a terrarium, but when you see it come together you’ll be shocked at its perfection.
Maddox
Maddox earned a Certificate of Horticulture at the Oahu Botanical Garden in 2018. His work includes indoor plant design and container gardening for residential and commercial spaces, and events. He is also can weld with the best of them and is a true asset when we need to design walls and larger terrariums.
Trystan
Trystan is our bookkeeper, fabricator and task master, he is detail and deadline orientated and makes sure everything flows as it should. We don’t know where we would be without Trys. He doesn’t mind dirt under his nails and is known to name his terrariums… usually after 70s soul singers and Greek deities.
